Clock Specialist Course (CSC)
OBJECTIVE: To cover in depth all areas of clock repair by learning repair techniques and applying them on projects in a one-on-one student/teacher setting. This course will prepare the student for an occupation as an expert in clock repair.
(CSC1): 15 Hours Instruction $550.00
Building on the Clock Repair Course, this course will step the student back in time with antique clocks and will explore the technology of the future. Pre-requisite: the student must complete the Clock Repair Course.
(CSC2): 15 Hours Instruction $550.00
While mastering the nomenclature of parts, compare different clocks with their functions and styles. Pre-requisite: CSC1
(CSC3): 15 Hours Instruction $550.00
Critique the close tolerances needed for a timepiece to “run like a clock”. Pre-requisite: CSC2
(CSC4): 15 Hours Instruction $550.00
Troubleshoot clocks correctly to make repair estimates cost effective. Pre-requisite: CSC3
(CSC5): 15 Hours Instruction $550.00
Expertly adjust chiming and striking clocks as well as cucu’s and ship’s bells. Pre-requisite: CSC4
(CSC6): 15 Hours Instruction $550.00
Become detail-oriented and focus on the specific parts and functions of the clocks. Pre-requisite: CSC5
