Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide education and quality instruction to all qualified persons in order to fully prepare the prospective student for a profession in the jewelry, watch, and/or clock industry.
Office Hours
Normal hours of operation are Monday through Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday hours of operation vary due to Seminar schedule. Please contact us for information.
Risch”s Trade School is closed on all Sundays and Observed Holidays.

Admission Requirements and Pre-Entrance Interview
The minimum education is high school graduate or equivalent. Additional experience related to the field of study is considered to be a valuable asset.
Prior to admission, each prospective student is expected to participate in an informal interview process in order to evaluate each student”s needs, goals, and expectations.
Each course is divided into individual sessions consisting of 15 hours of instruction. One hour of instruction is provided each workday for a 3 week period. One hour is defined as starting at the :00 of the hour and proceeds to the :50 of the same hour (9:00 to 9:50 for example). A 10 minute break is provided from the :50 of the hour to the :00 of the hour (9:50 to 10:00 for example).
The student must demonstrate manual dexterity, patience, attention to detail, and perseverance.
All course information and testing is provided in English. It is necessary for the student to read, write, and understand English. We do not provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction.
Additional policies and disclosures, such as Notice of Students Rights, are provided to each student at time of registration or prior to the beginning of the course. These policies and disclosures are also available to the general public upon request.
Certificates and Titles
A Certificate of Completion is issued for each completed course.
